Celebration SERVES Update
Homeless Breakfast - Over 1000 tacos, 30 cases of water, 6 cases of toothpaste, 45 blankets, 60 pairs of socks, t-shirts, belts, shoes and clothes were distributed to the homeless by close to 50 Celebration SERVES volunteers. One woman literally gave the shoes off her feet to a homeless woman who was wearing broken flip-flops! The woman was so happy that she cried as she put on her new shoes.
Police Station Meals - Celebration SERVES volunteers went to serve lunch to those who serve us by keeping our city safe. Lunch was served at three local police stations to hundreds of police and support staff.
$100 Challenge Update
Thank you to everyone who submitted such creative ideas. Here are just a couple of the most creative ones.
AGAPE Baby Shower - More than 50 ladies gave generously to the Agape Pregnancy Center. They gave 35 packs (over 1300) diapers, over 50 packs of wipes, bath kits, safety kits, clothing, shoes, toys, pacifiers and blankets to new moms and babies in our area.
Fire Station Easter Parties - Andrea Price is throwing Easter Parties for hundreds of firefighters & families in Round Rock!
