What is Celebration School of Ministry (CSM)?
CSM is a two-semester, ten-month internship program. Our Interns will have the opportunity to minister to thousands of young people starting directly with the Celebration Church youth and expanding into area schools and communities, as well as abroad through our missions trips to other nations. Each week, our Interns drive the Wednesday night youth service at Celebration Church and participate in weekly ministry to local college campuses like the University of Texas at Austin ministering the Word of God to hungry students from all over the greater Austin area. If not at Celebration Church or on college campuses, Interns are sent out to area communities where outreaches, evangelism, and mentoring take place.
Interns also have hands-on training from some of the finest men and women of God. Pastoral ministry, discipleship, prayer, and evangelism are the main subjects that are taught here at CSM. Pastor Jonathan Bowles and the Celebration Church staff regularly teach the Interns, who receive a great deal of impartation from these great leaders. Interns also have the privilege of being ministered to by incredible guest speakers such as Dino Rizzo, Christine Caine, Lisa Bevere, Kent Henry, and Billy Hornsby.
Through powerful teaching and intense training of spirit, mind, and body, the graduating Interns will be launched into a realm of ministry they never thought possible. It's about the cross and abandoning yourself to the Lord. It's about reaching the world and living the Father's vision. It's surrendering to God's authority and removing the limits. It's conquering those things that you always thought were impossible and becoming an excellent leader who will change the world!
Train
CSM rests upon the foundation of Celebration Church and is guided by the spiritual founders of this ministry. One of the opportunities and goals of your time here as an Intern, will be for you to receive the spirit of Celebration. As an Intern, you will have classes with Pastor Joe Champion, Pastor Lori Champion, Pastor Paul Mason, Pastor Daniel Gonzales, and many more! We not only want you to learn practical skills, but we also want you to receive a spiritual impartation that will give you a foundation for future ministry.
Discipleship
As a CSM Intern, you will be a part of one of the largest youth ministries in Texas. CSM reaches young people between the ages of 11-29 through the exciting ministries of XL Youth and XL Young Adults. Between these two ministries we offer 9 different services that make it possible for every young person to find purpose and receive the direction that is necessary for seeing change in this generation.
Every CSM Intern will be placed under one of our seasoned CSM leaders and work directly with staff for personal mentorship and discipleship. These leaders mentor one on one with you to ensure the purpose and plan of God is being fulfilled in your life. You will learn the basics of discipleship not just through class teachings, but also practically through creating your own small group and beginning to live exactly what you are being taught.
Ministry
As believers, we are commanded to go into all of the world and preach the gospel and, as we obey, God will back us up with His power. From the streets, to the malls, to university campuses, Interns preach the gospel and heal the sick all over Austin, TX! There are even opportunities to minister overseas where the saving and healing power of God is demonstrated.
