Local Missions We Support
Community Connections provides opportunities to serve the city by reaching out to those who have physical, emotional, social and spiritual needs. In Matthew 22:39, Jesus said to “Love your neighbor as yourself” and He has entrusted us to fulfill this Great Commission! First Peter 4:10 calls us to be step up and be responsible. “Each one should use whatever gift he has received to serve others, faithfully administering God’s grace in its various forms.” Prayerfully consider how God can use your time, talents and resources to impact our community.
Children & Youth.
Launch Pad. David and Rebecca Contreras are reaching out to At Risk Youth in the North East area of Austin, TX. They work with local schools to identify and support youth who are struggling in order to provide support and mentorship whereby they will learn life skills that will keep them on the pathway towards success.
Ride On Center for Kids. R.O.C.K. (Georgetown) is a non-profit provider of therapeutic horseback riding and Hippotherapy for individuals with cognitive and physical challenges. Therapies benefit the bodies, minds and spirits of children and adults with special needs in our community and they continue to expand in the areas of research, education and service to injured members of our armed forces.
Fellowship of Christian Athletes. FCA challengees coaches & athletes on the professional, college, high school, junior high and youth levels to use sports to impact the world for Jesus Christ.
Food & Assistance.
Round Rock Area Serving Center. The Round Rock Serving Center serves its surrounding community with a food pantry and financial assistance for those in need, as well as temporary lodging. Over 51,000 people were served last year alone.
Covenant International Ministries. Covenant International Ministries is primarily a host site for the Angel Food Ministry locally. It is a Christian food co-op where people can purchase a week's worth of groceries for $30.
The Georgetown Caring Place. The Caring Place provides food, clothing, basic household items, help with minor home repairs, and bill paying assistance for those facing a season of need in their lives. They currently assist an average of 150 families per month.
The Store House. David The Store House works with local area churches to serve members of the community who have need of food, utility and housing assistance in Pflugerville.
Medical & Prision Ministry.
Don Ihnen Prision Ministries. Over the past thirty years, Don & Arlene Ihnen have developed an extensive network within the prison system and are instrumental in reaching the inmate population.
Lonestar Circle of Care. Lonestar Circle of Care helps ensure access to primary medical and dental care for those who have difficulty obtaining services due to economic or geographic barriers. Current service area is Travis County. All patients are financially screened.
Pregnancy Support.
Agape Pregnancy Resource Center. Agape offers hope and complete support to an average of 300 young women with unplanned pregnancies on a monthly basis in Round Rock, Texas.
Pregnancy Help Center. Providing lifesaving help for young women with unplanned pregnancies in Georgetown, Texas. They offer hope and complete support to make it easier to choose LIFE. An average of 105 people are assisted on a monthly basis through this organization.
